Who are they?
Riders Refuges are relatively new to the chalet holiday world. However, being formed in 2008 they still have a wealth of experience under their belts to offer quality yet affordable holidays to their guests.
Operating during winter and summer months, Riders Refuge offer the possibility for year round employment which could be a big bonus! Board and ski riders in the winter and bike riders in the summer...perfect refuge!
Where are they?
Riders Refuge operate purely out of Morzine, part of the massive Portes du Soleil ski region.
They've grown to offer 5 separate catered chalets across the village that can accomodate between 8 to 21 guests at a time and aims to cater for all needs; central chalets, quiet chalets, luxury chalets and family chalets.
Qualifications for the role?
Riders Refuge appear to be looking for the right couple with the right attitudes and personalities and with a good work ethic and drive - the good news of that means you don't need any kitchen experience and qualifications - yay!
BUT, the application needs a 6 day 4 course planned menu to be written by you so take your time over this and be realistic. If you can't actually make Duck Roulade or Parfait, don't write it down because you think you'll get bonus points...you won't. Read more about the application stage here

Benefits
As mentioned before, Riders Refuge give the opportunity for both summer and winter employment which we see as a real bonus...have a full year working in France and experience the Alps with snowy peaks and pastures green!
In terms of the employment package, we couldn't find that much, however we are certain as with all others it includes a 'competitive' salary, full lift pass, ski/board hire and accommodation that is just for the two of you.
