Green rides began life in 2006 when a husband and wife decided to buy a chalet in La rosiere, with the subsequent journey they have been on exploding from there.
Holding true to their personal and very hand-on approach adopted in those early years, Green rides now operate 10 chalets, in addition to a separate chalet cookery school that trains students during the spring and summer months!
Green rides have chalets located in four great locations - La Rosiere, Val d'isere, La plagne and Morzine, meaning you'll be brilliantly placed to explore the endless mountains!
With 10 chalets to work within, Green rides caters between 6 and 24 guests in any single chalet!
Fortunately, these guys don't require any formal qualifications or kitchen experience! They do however, state that 'cooking skills' are desirable.
Now that statement can be quiet subjective so, as long as you can safely cook yourself and friends dinner once in a while (we emphasis the 'safely'), then apply away as Green rides should provide all the training you need considering they also run chalet cookery schools!
Green rides offers the standard benefits for this role, namely:
A competitive salary
Live in or out accommodation (Chalet dependant)
Full area lift pass (La Rosiere only)
Ski/board equipment hire
Comprehensive training course, Great personal food budget & Career progression with Summer opportunities
However, one snag we thought we'd mention was that they only offer '70% travel expenses refunded on completion of season'. This means firstly, the flights and transfers will originally be coming out of your pocket and secondly you'll never get 30% of it back! A bit harsh we feel BUT, if their salary is good and they don't take out supplements for the above benefits, then they may well be worth it!
