Ski Olympic began life in 1986 operating purely out of La Rosiere. Since then, the family run independent company have expanded to 5 different resorts and offer 12 chalets and chalet hotels.
They now operate from 5 different villages; Meribel, Les Arcs, La Plagne, Courchevel and La Rosiere.
This means you could be placed in Paradiski, The Three Valleys or the slightly smaller Espace San Bernardo ski areas, opening up the opportunity for endless skiing (as long as you have a full lift pass!).
The advantage of the lesser known Espace San Bernardo is the opportunity to ski across two countries; France and Italy.
Adverts for a chalet couple role describe one half of the couple as the Chef, and the other as a host. Therefore, they do have a preference for someone with kitchen experience or professional food qualifications in order to create your weekly menu and deliver it within budget.
Unfortunately, Ski Olympic are very coy with this...we couldn't find anything other than 'competitive salary, accommodation and benefits'. What that accommodation or benefits package looks like is anyone's guess though!
We suspect its the usual ski pass, hire, insurance and travel to and from resort.
