Chalet Couple

Powder White Chalet Couple

Who are they?

We couldn't find much about who Powder White are or where they came from. However, they offer plenty of accommodation options for customers and offer the ability to fully customise their stay from self-catered, part-catered or fully catered holidays.

Staff are expected to not only help in resort but also with airport transfers, slopes transfers, ski passes and hire, ski lessons and restaurant bookings etc.

Chalets can be rented out as a whole or guests can mingle into joint party groups.

Where are they?

Powder white have a large range of 56 chalets and multiple apartments for customers. However, 'only' 22 of these chalets are catered by chalet hosts and couples.

They are based in a range of resorts including; Verbier, Val d'isere, St Anton, Courchevel and Meribel. All brilliantly placed chalets to explore the (almost!) limiteless slopes around.

For all catered options, Powder White offer a 4 course meal with canapes to its guests. As such, they do require at least one of you to have some commercial or professional kitchen experience OR have undertaken a 2 week cookery course.

Its also a little unclear if they want you to have a Level 2 award in food hygiene...in one breath they say they'll help you achieve this and in another, they list it as a requirement of the role?

Additionally, they ask for a minimum of 1-2 years customer facing service role. Dont let this put you off though, if youve been working part time in McDonalds whilst at uni...that counts!

Benefits

As with all companies, they say they offer a 'competitive salary and all the usual suspects of;

  • 'Fantastic accommodation'

  • Return transport to/from London to resort.

  • Medical and Ski Insurance.

  • Seasonal lift pass (unclear if whole area of not though).

  • Equipment hire.

  • Uniform.

Additionally, they offer attractive friends and family discounts (great to get them out with you for Christmas and new year!) and free ski/board tuition in low season (great for newbies!)
