Who are they?
Founded in 1997 by a married couple, Colletts remains an established provider of catered ski holidays across the Alps (among other regions). Away from catered holidays though, they also offer 'ski safaris' whereby guests never stay in the same place at once and can ski across vast regions! pretty ace we thought!
Importantly however, they also offer summer activities in the mountains meaning you could land yourself almost all year round employment with these guys (more about that in our blog here).
Where are they?
Based within the Italian Dolomites in winter (still technically the Alps!) they have 3 catered chalets to choose from, in the towns of Badia and Corvara. Their chalet can sleep up to 30 guests at any one time! But don't worry, each chalet is run by up to 6/7 staff members!
In summer, the company offer excursions in Italy, Austria the Pyrenees and Picos de Europa.
Qualifications for the role?
Colletts do require at least one of you to have a food hygiene cerificate and whilst you don't need any formal cooking qualifications, they do require one of you to have had at least some sort of cooking/kitchen experience, given the large numbers staying in the chalets.
In return for a season of hard graft, Colletts offer the below, but perhaps more importantly, give you the opportunity to continue your seasonal work by gaining summer employment and then possibly another winter employment thereafter!
